Fair Chase Hunting, LLC.

Fair Chase Hunting operates on 15,000 acres of the Rooke Ranch located in Refugio county.  This ranch is completely low fenced.  We hunt a little over 10,000 acres of the ranch.  Of the part of the ranch not included, 3500 acres is ag land (usually planted in milo. corn or cotton) and approximately 1500 acres used for two housing complexes, horse and bull traps and a couple of sanctuary areas/safety zones.  The 10,000 acres offers lots of brush, numerous oak mottes and large cleared areas.   We are bordered by one 60,000 acre ranch to the south and west.  Our smallest neighbor is 1200 acres in size.  This ranch is not over hunted by any means.  We have 33 blinds and feeders/food plots so you will not get bored hunting the same place unless you want to.  We have 21 protein feed stations located on the ranch that are continually full from the end of deer season thru October. There is a full service airport (Refugio County Airport, Rooke Field) located on the ranch.  It has two runways, the longest of which has recently been extended to 4500 ft.  For those interested in golf, the Refugio Country Club is located across the Hwy from the ranch.  This ranch has been owned by the same family since the 1800's.
