Whitetail Deer Packages

The 2010-11 season was a good one on ranches in Texas.  We took our largest buck yet since implementing our management program 5 years ago.  It grossed 169 5/8".  We had a tough time with our food plots making, as it stopped raining in Sept and we planted in the beginning of Oct as usual.  Some of our tops spots were severely hurt because of this.  Well that's hunting, it is different each and every year.  All of our trophy hunters left with their bucks this year and unfortunately we had one managment hunter(young man) leave without his buck.  Tough conditions like full moons combined with warm weather can really shut things down.  The 2011-12 season should be interesting to see how it turns out.  As all of Texas, we have been in a severe drought this year.  The good news is we are in our 6th year of feeding supplemental protein.

Trophy Hunt #1- One mature whitetail buck, one doe and unlimited hogs and varmits $4000.00.  When booking two or more hunters at the same time the price is $3750.  Expectation should be a buck scoring between 130 to 170 gross B&C.  Largest deer taken in 2010-2011 scored 169 5/8 B&C.  Largest deer taken in 2009-10 scored 160B&C and 2008-09 scored 166 7/8 B&C.  Includes food and lodging.  Hunts start at Noon on day one and conclude at Noon on day four.  No additional trophy fees. 

Trophy Hunt #2- same as #1 except $1500 hunt fee and $100 per inch for every inch over 110 gross B&C.  This option is for the hunter who is not likely to pull the trigger on a mid range buck but does not mind paying the going rate in Texas for an upper end buck should he have the chance to take one.  Should he not find a buck of his liking, he is only out the nominal hunt fee.

Management Hunt- One mature whitetail buck (usually an 8 point), one doe and unlimited hogs and varmits $2500. When booking two or more hunters at the same time the price is $2250. Expectation should be a buck scoring over 120 gross B&C. Largest buck in 2010-11 scored 143 7/8 B&C.  Largest in 2009-10 scored 132 5/8 B&C and in 2008-09 scored 146 B&C even though it had a broken brow tine.  Includes food and lodging. Hunts start at Noon on day one and conclude at Noon on day three.No additional trophy fees.

Bow Hunt- $250/day applied towards total package price upon harvest.

**Non hunting adult guest may stay for an additional $150/day.  Your child can stay for free and hunt with you if there are no other hunters in camp.** 

Hog Hunting-Unlimited Hogs $100/day two day minimum. Lodging and food not included.  Bring your child for free.

Dove Hunting-$50/day two day minimum, 4 person minimum.  Lodging and food not included.  Bring your child for free.

To Book any hunt a 50% deposit will secure your dates with the balance due prior to arrival of hunt date.  Reschedules are allowed subject to openings.  We are very easy to work with as long as it does not interfere with another party's scheduled hunt.

These are all true fair chase hunts thus they are not guarenteed.  We will always do our best to put you on the best possible buck/animal at the time of your visit.  This is real hunting for quality animals.  We imploy all the normal hunting methods used in Texas depending on the factors at the time of the hunt.  Success rate for Trophy hunts has been 94% and 96% for Management hunts.
